Changes in World of Warcraft Patch 6.0.2

On October 14, 2014, World of Warcraft released the long-awaited patch 6.0.2. This patch prepares the game for the upcoming Warlords of Draenor, the fifth expansion in the World of Warcraft universe. The update makes significant changes to many character abilities and overhauls older characters while also improving storage and inventory. Players may now take advantage of an integrated quest log, as well as a whole-account Toy Box and revamped Group Finder pane.

The patch also streamlines statistics and introduces a new measure of ability standardization in terms of hit, parry, dodge, and miss probabilities. Certain achievements, including the Mists of Pandaria sets and Garrosh Hellscream’s weapon store, are no longer available with 6.0.2. The first season of Brawler’s Guild disappears with patch 6.0.2 as well, and prior achievements roll over into Feats of Strength’s new Legacy category. Similarly, players are no longer able to begin the Legendary Cloak quest chain or work toward Season One rewards in Challenge Mode.
